Lhx1 binds the Npnt gene

Lhx1 (also called Lim1) binds three sites near the coding region of the Nephronectin (Npnt) gene: one site is about 14 kb upstream of the transcription start and two sites are in the 3' untranslated region (Boualia et al. 2013). Loss of Lhx1 results in complete loss of Npnt expression (Boualia et al. 2013).

Lhx1，亦称Lim1，在Nephronectin（Npnt）基因的编码区附近结合三个位点：其中一个位于转录起始点上游约14 kb处，另外两个位于3'非编码区（Boualia等，2013年）。Lhx1的丢失将导致Npnt表达完全丧失（Boualia等，2013年）。
