Major chemical constituents of the water samples from Kangding geothermal field
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains field physicochemical parameters, major-ion chemistry, dissolved silica and boron concentrations, lithium concentrations, and lithium, oxygen, and hydrogen isotope compositions for 14 geothermal water samples and one river water sample collected from the Erdaoqiao, Zhonggu, and Yulingong geothermal zones in Kangding, western Sichuan Province, China. The reported variables include temperature, pH, total dissolved solids, Ca²⁺, K⁺, Mg²⁺, Na⁺, Cl⁻, SO₄²⁻, HCO₃⁻, SiO₂, B, Li, lithium isotope compositions (δ⁷Li) and their associated analytical uncertainties expressed as two standard deviations (2SD), oxygen isotope compositions (δ¹⁸O), and hydrogen isotope compositions (δD). These data were generated to characterize hydrochemical and isotopic variations among the three geothermal zones and to investigate geothermal-fluid sources, fluid mixing, and the processes controlling lithium migration and enrichment in the Kangding geothermal system. Sample metadata, analytical units, analytical methods, and quality-control information are provided with the dataset. This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Processes controlling Li isotopic composition of geothermal waters in Kangding, western Sichuan Province, China.”
