This paper analyses anew two passages of the well-known Astynomoi Law in the attempt to stress the unitary character of this Hellenistic prostagma and to reconsider several procedural aspects that are central to the understanding of this document. Moreover, in these few pages the author tries to assess the current status of another important question pertaining to this text, namely the interpretation of its function in the 2nd century A.D. when it was re-inscribed and displayed in the lower Agora of Pergamon.
