In general， the present invention relates to the polymer industry sector and relates more specifically to polymer compositions comprising proportions of rice husks， generating novel thermoplastic materials. Within this context， the thermoplastic materials TPU， PVC， expanded PVC， vulcanized rubber， or combinations thereof， are mixed with a sufficient amount of ground rice husks. The formulation can be produced by means of a small-scale mechanical process， using rice husk master batches or by means of incorporation during the polymerization process. Consequently， said compositions confer strength and technical and visual characteristics suitable for use in shoe soles and other adjacent components.
