An bacterium capable of thiocyanate degradation was isolated from activated sludge by serial dilution method. Genomic DNA was extracted from the culture, which was subjected to whole genome sequencing by PacBio2 RSII. In total 146,654 reads with average length of 7,905 bp were obtained, which was subsequently assembled into a circular genome sequence by de novo assembling. Gene-coding sequences (CDSs), rRNA and tRNA were annotated through MiGap pipeline.
