HCT116 cells treated with 5-FU along with DMSO and non-treatment controls using time-course RNA-seq were used to investigate target genes regulated by p53 at the different timepoints. Overall design: Fourteen samples of HCT116 derived mRNA. These samples include 2 replicates of non-treatment, 2 replicates each of DMSO treatments for 6, 12 and 24 and 2 replicates each of 5-FU treatment for 6, 12 and 24 hours. Both CuffDiff2 and DESeq2 were used to determine the differentially expressed genes.
