Aerial photographs of the Networked Info-mechanical Systems (NIMS) grid at Imnaviat Creek near Toolik Field Station, Alaska were taken using a camera rig and kite system. The kite was flown once on July 23rd during the summer of 2011 at about 100-200 meters off the ground. Westerly winds at about 7 mph on the ground with scattered rain showers. Due to low winds two kites were used in order to carry more weight.
