one male specimen obtained from Werner Kramer Nothobranchius kunthae is an African annual fish with a max. life span of 38 weeks in captivity. We are performing genomic sample sequencing and comparative analyses with Nothobranchius furzeri, strain GRZ (max. life span 13-16 weeks) and strain MZM-0403 (max. life span 31 weeks) in order identify molecular determinants of life span in these species.
