VPRS 18024 Superintendent's Subject Files

This series consists of the correspondence, reference and working files of Dr. Eileen Slack, the Superintendent of Winlaton Youth Residential Centre (VA 5093) from circa 1976-1990.The files include administrative and operational procedures related to Winlaton and the overseeing Department, information regarding particular staff, trainees and external organisations as well as files about the client based programs that Dr. Slack introduced to Winlaton, such as the Depo Provera contraception and Triad Therapy programs. Copies of articles written by Dr. Slack are also included in the series.Some earlier material from the previous Superintendent (circa 1969-1975) is also included in the files.
