Replication Data for: Political trust and elite closure: Evidence from Latin America

This dataset contains the replication materials for the article “Political trust and elite closure: Evidence from Latin America”, forthcoming in Party Politics (2026). The data consist of a harmonized selection of variables from LAPOP surveys covering 18 Latin American countries over the period 2006–2018, combined with country-year level variables from the PELA-USAL elite survey, V-Dem, and the International Labour Organization (ILO). The repository includes processed datasets and replication scripts required to reproduce all analyses, tables, and figures reported in the article.
