资源简介:
Videos showing a playthrough of seismic reflection data imaging dykes and overlying dyke-induced normal faults. The 3D volume shown is part of the Chandon 3D seismic survey, located on the Exmouth Plateau offshore NW Australia, available from Geoscience Australia at http://www.ga.gov.au/nopims. In the 'Dyke & Fault Reveal Video', line interpretations shown: red = dykes; black = dyke-induced normal faults; white = tectonic faults. The 'Surfaces 3D' video reveals the local 3D interpretations of two dyke-induced normal faults, with one having a blue (high dip) to white (low dip) scale corresponding to fault dip whilst the other shows variations in fault displacement (high displacement = warm colours; low displacement = black and grey). Also shown are the mapped Top Mungaroo surface (near Top Triassic) and vertical dyke. The 'Surfaces 3D extended' video was added at a later date but shows the same, this time including a legend, as the 'Surfaces 3D' video.
