Contour lines were created at 2 meters intervals using the version 7 Lake Victoria bathymetry map. Version 7 Lake Victoria bathymetry map was created from points taken from an admiral bathymetry map and from points taken in the field. More information regarding bathymetry points can be found in the point metadata file.
