资源简介:
Here, we report the complete genome sequence of two Leishmania species of importance clinical-epidemiological, L. naiffi and L. guyanensis, isolates from patients with Cutaneous Leishmaniasis from Colombia and Venezuela, respectively. The results obtained revealed in both clinical isolates low structural variation in terms of somy and gene CNV and an elevate genetic heterogeneity. Likewise, this study performed a general comparison between the two clinical isolates with genomes from of different geographical areas (Brazil and Frech Guinea), the results evidenced a concordance to structural level (chromosomal/gene) between Colombian L. naiffi genome with the Brazilian L. naiffi genome isolate of marsupials and a elevate genomic diversity among all L. guyanensis genome analyzed. Although the incidence of these species in the Cutaneous and Mucosal Leishmaniasis cases is low, revealing their genomic behavior contributes not only to expanding previous work, but also to increasing understanding about of the mechanism used for this species to generate variability in the clinical manifestation and response to treatment.
