Cognitive reasoning in the context of generative AI use: A sequential mediation model of facilitation and offloading

Data collected to examine how overreliance on generative AI (GenAI) undermines cognitive reasoning. The data was collected from 439 individuals with sustained exposure to GenAI, to explain the effect of GenAI reliance on cognitive reasoning through cognitive facilitation and cognitive offloading.
