Gene expression profile at single cell level of whole lungs of mice collected from bleomycin or PBS-treated young and old mice at day 14, day 28 and day 60 post injection

We use scRNA-seq to monitor the resolution of bleomycin-induced fibrosis in capillary endothelial cells and the impact of aging on these mechanisms Overall design: Young (7 weeks) or old (18 months) mice were injected with PBS or bleomycin to induce transient alveolar damages. Their whole lungs were harvested at the bleomycin-induced fibrotic response peak at day 14, and during the resolution phase at day 28 and 60 post injection. At each time point for both young or old mice, single cell libraries of bleomycin and PBS treated lung samples (3 replicates each) were pooled using cell hashing and jointly sequenced.
