As PRC2 shows preference for binding to unmethylated CG-rich sequences in mammals, we asked whether the observed H3K27me3 remodelling is due to recruitment of PRC2 in response to global DNA demethylation.To understand the potential relationship, we categorized promoters based on the changes in DNA methylation and H3K27me3 between E10.5 and E13.5 (see Methods).
