Experimental Performance Dataset for an Omnidirectional Soft Sleeve Actuator

This dataset provides experimental performance measurements for multiple omnidirectional soft sleeve actuator (OSSA) prototypes. It includes force outputs measured during axial (linear) actuation and bending actuation, enabling comparison of load generation across motion modes and designs. The dataset also reports displacement responses for axial extension under positive pressure, axial contraction under vacuum actuation, and bending deformation (e.g., bending angle and/or tip deflection, depending on the test configuration). In addition, it contains dynamic characterization data for the linear actuation mode acquired under controlled pneumatic inputs, supporting analysis of transient response, tracking behavior, and frequency-dependent performance.
