This soil sample was collected from different continuous and rotational crop cultivated fields within Kushtia district. 16S rRNA metagenomic analyses were carried out to understand the microbial population in various fields soil. The chosen fields were continuous tobacco cultivation, tobacco with rice, tobacco with maize, and tobacco with jute. This study evaluated and compared microbial populations in different cropping systems to find out which cropping system exhibited potential microbial populations.
