Assesment of microbial diversity from Konkan beaches

This project investigates microbial diversity and community structure using high-throughput sequencing. Study aims to identify and characterize the microbial taxa present along the Konkan Sea coast. Further also investigating the relationship between microbial communities and environmental factors, such as the presence of heavy metals, salinity, and pH etc. The results will contribute to our knowledge of microbial ecology and their potential roles in biogeochemical cycles, pollution degradation, and ecosystem health in coastal environments.
