Assessing pan-European soil resilience by combining modelled soil erosion with LUCAS topsoil indicators

This deposit contains the derived data, figures and R code underlying the article "Assessing pan-European soil resilience by combining modelled soil erosion with LUCAS topsoil indicators", submitted to Open Research Europe. It includes national mean soil loss for 2001 and 2012, calculated from the GloSEM maps for the 27 EU Member States and the United Kingdom. It also includes RUSLE erosion factors sampled at LUCAS locations and point-level and summary indicators of topsoil pH, soil organic matter, electrical conductivity and the Soil Resilience Index from the LUCAS Topsoil surveys of 2009, 2015 and 2018. The R scripts reproduce every figure, table and statistical result in the article. The original LUCAS, GloSEM and ESDAC factor maps are not redistributed here and can be requested from the European Soil Data Centre. The data and figures are released under CC BY 4.0 and the code under the MIT License; README.txt describes all files, variables and methods.
