Anti-racist scholar-activism interview data

This data relates to a research project focused on antiracist scholar-activism in British universities. It specifically explores the experiences and perspectives of those engaged in what might be thought of as antiracist 'scholar-activism'. The research considers the ways in which the university enables and constrains possibilities for social justice. The data emerge from 29 semi-structured interviews with individuals who were, at the time of interview, working or engaged in doctoral study, in British universities. Given the sensitive nature of the data, involving participants talking about their employers, colleagues, and the sector at large, the data cannot be made available - this is particularly the case because, despite pseudonymisation, the specificity of experiences may make some of the participants identifiable. The data was professionally transcribed, pseudonymised, and is stored in word document format.
