This dataset has been developed in the framework of the EWA BELT research activities of the work packages 4 "Boosting value chain", under the leadership of Cranfield University (Partner 3). The approach and methodology of the data collected in this database is described in Deliverable 4.1 Biophysical and economic database of case study technologies and practices.The database contains economic data (such as Labour cost, cost of production, gross margin, BCR) related to different practices and technologies tested at case study level in different African countries in 2021 and 2022, as follow: Ghana:• Integrated Soil Fertility Management (ISFM) in maize• Water management (Bunding in maize)• Fonio intercropping with legumes • Biopesticides on maize• Frafra potato (NUS) Kenya:• Integrated soil fertility management in Neglected/Underutilized crops species (Finger millet and Maize)• Peanut rotation of with cereals• Groundnut production with Aflasafe KE-01• Maize production with Aflasafe KE-01• Finger millet production with Aflasafe KE-01• Evaluation of peanut and maize varieties Burkina Faso:• Effects three tillage practices associated to three doses of organic manure on maize yield• Effects three tillage practices associated to three doses of organic manure on cotton yield• Effects of crops association (sorghum + bean) and application of organic manure on sorghum productivity.• Effects of organo-mineral fertilizers on sorghum productivity- Enhancing sorghum yield in cotton-cereals based farming system.• Effects of biochar and compost on maize yield in cotton rotation• Effects of self-product organic fertilizer on fonio performance • Fonio intercropped with cowpea• Effects of Biopesticides (Cassia nigricans extract, Neem extract) on cowpea Tanazania• Integrated soil fertility management (ISFM) Ethiopia• Yield response of teff to K-fertilizer application.
