Clinical Utility of Liquid Biopsy in Melanoma: A Systematic Review of Diagnostic, Prognostic, and Therapeutic Applications

This dataset contains the structured extraction matrix used for the systematic review “Clinical Utility of Liquid Biopsy in Melanoma: A Systematic Review of Diagnostic, Prognostic, and Therapeutic Applications.” It compiles study-level data from 32 primary studies on liquid biopsy in melanoma, including bibliographic information, study design, country, sample size, melanoma subtype, clinical stage, biomarker evaluated (ctDNA, cfDNA, CTCs, microRNAs, extracellular vesicles, and epigenetic markers), target genes or proteins, detection methods, and main clinical outcomes. The dataset also includes variables related to diagnostic performance, treatment response, prognostic associations, and methodological quality assessment. It was created to support transparency, reproducibility, and secondary analysis of the evidence synthesized in this systematic review.
