Supplementary materials for "Reading Emotion in the Preterm Brain: A Scoping Review Mapping Emotion-Related Terminology for the Interpretation of Central Nervous System Findings"

Supplementary materials for a scoping review of how emotion-related terminology is applied to central nervous system (CNS) findings in preterm infants during neonatal intensive care. The review included 11 studies and 19 interpretive instances in which EEG or NIRS/fNIRS findings were linked to an emotion-related construct. The materials include the full search strategies for PubMed, Scopus, and CINAHL, definitions of full-text exclusion reasons, the coding and data extraction framework, the full extracted dataset with verbatim quotations and assigned codes, and the proposed reporting checklist for emotion-related interpretations of CNS findings.
