Plant constituents in herbal beverages

Data on plant constituents in herbal beverages (Chamaenerion, Lythrum). nrITS1 and nrITS2 target fragments were amplified using PCR-mix-blue (Amplisens) with optimized primers that selectively anneal to (18S and 5.8S for ITS1;5.8S and 28S for ITS2) sequences of plants, excluding fungi. The amplified products were purified with Vazyme magnetic beads (Vazyme, China), the pooling were perform for ITS1 amplicons and ITS2 amplicons and taken to library preparation for 2nd generation sequencing and complete nrITS amplicons for 3rd generation sequencing on DNB-SeqG400 platform and GridION respectively.
