VPRS 19278 Graduate Nurses Association Meeting Minutes

This series comprises minutes of the Royal Melbourne Hospital’s Graduate Nurses Association. The Melbourne Hospital Trained Nurses Association was formed in 1917 with the objectives to promote a bond of union between nurses holding the Melbourne Hospital Certificate and to endeavour to procure State Registration for nurses. The name later changed to the Royal Melbourne Hospital Graduate Nurses’ Association. These are the minutes of the prime decision-making body and the group responsible for the overall management of the Association. They are a record of activities, office-bearers, membership, and finances including grant and scholarship funds awarded.
