Global self-esteem is typically defined as one's overall sense of worthiness as a person. The Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (SES) is a widely used instrument for measuring this construct. The objective of the present study was to conduct a psychometrically sound Polish adaptation of the scale. The research shows that the Polish version is a highly reliable (Cronbach's alpha 0.81 - 0.83), and theoretically valid instrument. Confirmatory Factor Analysis supported the one-dimension structure of the scale. peerReviewed publishedVersion
