PNCC Water Mains

Water mains are large underground pipes that carry clean drinking water from the Council's supply to suburbs and streets. This layer supports asset management, maintenance, and planning of the water network. Data is continually updated as new information is received. The vertical datum used for this dataset is NZVD 2016. Dataset Fields (Columns): Compkey: Unique, auto-generated identifier for each asset (i.e., pipe segment). UnitID: Asset unit ID at the starting point of the pipe. UnitID2: Asset unit ID at the end point of the pipe. Diameter: Internal pipe diameter (in millimeters). Length: Total pipe length (in meters). Material: The material the pipe is made from. See material codes below.
