IKONOS Satellite Imagery for Amazonia

IKONOS satellite imagery data have been requested from the NASA
Scientific Data Purchase Program in support of research for the
Large-scale Biosphere-Atmosphere Experiment in Amazonia
(LBA). EOS-WEBSTER is providing these IKONOS data to LBA researchers
and affiliated NASA researchers/employees in agreement with the Space
Imaging End User License Agreement (EULA). Data are either currently
available or will be made available when received for two types of LBA
Ecology study sites: 1) Eddy Flux Tower Sites and 2) Land Use Field
Sites. At present IKONOS imagery have been acquired for 8 eddy-flux
tower sites, with images of 5 more tower sites anticipated. In
addition, fourteen (14) images have been requested from NASA/Space
Imaging for the Land Use Field Sites and will be added to the
EOS-WEBSTER holdings when available. The images will be shared among
all LBA teams following the data-sharing guidelines of the EULA.
