This dataset is a distribution pattern map of oases in the arid region of Northwest China in 2010. It was generated by interpreting Landsat TM/ETM remote sensing images acquired around 2010, and has classified the main landscape types within the oases in detail, mainly including cultivated land, woodland, grassland, water bodies, construction land and other categories. This dataset can provide a reference for evaluating the distribution status of oasis landscapes in the arid region of Northwest China.
