WildChat is a dataset consisting of 1 million conversations between human users and ChatGPT, including demographic data such as state, country, hashed IP addresses, and request headers. The dataset was collected by offering free access to OpenAIs GPT-3.5 and GPT-4. It contains a variety of user-chatbot interactions, such as ambiguous requests, code-switching, topic-switching, and political discussions, making it suitable for instruction fine-tuning and user behavior research.
