South West Sustainable Farming and Innovation

South West Sustainable Farming and Innovation sub project will drive support to farming entities in the South West region to adopt sustainable land management practices that increase productivity and improve the quality of ecosystem services delivered to the broader community from their land. It will invest in on-farm demonstrations and trials with particular attention on the adaption of practices to local conditions. Support to adopt these practices will also be provided through on-farm technical advice and farmer to farmer mentoring. The project will also facilitate a small number of larger, targeted, farmer driven trials that are aimed at innovative solutions to complex problems and ultimately promote the proof of concept results for broader adoption with appropriate extension.
