Experimental dataset for "Naturally occurring core region mutations of hepatitis B virus related to viral replication and HBeAg seroconversion"

This dataset comprises the experimental data from a foundational study as "Naturally occurring core region mutations of hepatitis B virus related to viral replication and HBeAg seroconversion". This study aimed to investigate the impact of naturally occurring C-region mutations in HBV-infected individuals within the blood donor population on HBV replication and expression. The HBV samples were collected from various blood centers across multiple provinces in China, with sequencing and experimental validation conducted by the National Center for Clinical Laboratories. The results were presented as means and standard deviations of at least three independent experiments.This research provides a theoretical foundation for subsequent studies on the mechanisms of HBV C-region mutations.
