Aerospace Journals - Metrics & Ranking - 2015

There is much competition among the many scientific journals. Therefore, it is not easy for potential authors to select a suitable journal from those offered in a particular field. Considered here is the field of aerospace (aeronautics and astronautics). 40 journals are systematically selected for inclusion in the ranking. Journals are compared with help of 3 different metrics: Impact Factor, Google h5-Index, and SNIP and their data from summer 2015. Journals are ranked for each of the three metrics. The final ranking is defined as an average of the underlying 3 metrics.
