Surf Grass

This data set shows distribution of Surf Grass along the coast. The data was extracted from a larger set of data which contained plant species found along the coast. Data was further clipped and projected for use in the San Diego Ocean Planning Partnership, a collaborative pilot project between the California State Lands Commission and the Port of San Diego. The map set describes shoreline habitat characteristics and biological assemblages on United States Geologic Service (USGS) quad maps. South coast data appended 20010805
