RNA-Sequencing analysis of in vitro cultured, sub-confluent (50-75%) mouse melanoma cell line WT31 and its subline WT31_Passage. The subline was generated by repeated in vivo hepatic passaging (5 times). Overall design: The melanoma cell line WT31 was derived from Tyr?NrasQ61K/°; INK4a-/- mice and originally generated by O. Sansom (Beatson Institute for Cancer Research, Scotland, UK). After thawing the cells were not passaged more than three times in cell culture. WT31_P5IV subline was generated by hepatic passaging of WT31 five times over the liver after intravenous injection. RNA was extracted from cultured, sub-confluented cells (50% - 75%) for both cell lines and prepared for RNA-sequencing. The library preparation and the sequencing with an Illumina HiSeq 4000 sequencing system (Illumina, CA, USA) were then performed by BGI (Hongkong, China).
