Validated TRANSP simulations of Alcator C-Mod Experimental Plasma

This dataset contains the inputs and outputs from TRANSP plasma transport simulations initialized using experimental data from the Alcator C-Mod tokamak plasma experimental device. The simulations include sawtooth instabilities according to the Kadomtsev model and the outputs are time-averaged over these crashes to emulate steady-state plasma scenarios.

The data is stored within a NETCDF4 file written using the Python xarray package, which can be opened via the xarray package with the `open_dataset()` function. Only a subset of the output fields deemed relevant for plasma transport simulations are included, in order to reduce data bloat.
