Two soybean genotypes showing significant differences in seed oil content - one high-oil and one low-oil - were selected for this project. Plants were grown under simulated shade stress conditions with a light intensity of 240 umol/m2.s, and a red to far-red (R:FR) light ratio of 3.15. At the R6 developmental stage, seeds were harvested from each genotype, providing fundamental data for comprehensively elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying seed oil content in soybeans.
