Dataset of articles on CNM/JNJ from selected Peruvian news outlet

This study delves into the political and legal turmoil surrounding the CNM’s downfall and the subsequent challenges of the JNJ up to 2024. It explores the dynamics of anti-corruption reforms within weak institutional frameworks and discusses the paradox where anti-corruption efforts are spearheaded by actors susceptible to corruption. Employing a systems approach and light process-tracing methodology, this analysis draws on media and legal documents to examine the formal and informal actions impacting the trajectory of these judicial bodies, offering insights into the mechanisms behind judicial anti-corruption reform in Peru.
