This database contains hourly value of sea level derived from tide gauge
observations. The data are recorded in three types of record, that is,
first one is master record for the information of tide station, date
and time, time zone, tide gauge, bench mark and reference level,
second one for comments to describe any change in the observation,
third one for hourly values of sea level. Several Japanese agencies
contributed data, they include the Maritime Safety Agency, Meteorological
Agency, and Hokkaido Development Agency.
Data in these files are available as copies of specified data subsets
on magnetic tapes, floppy disks,CD-ROMs or printed form.
