This dataset was developed as part of an undergraduate thesis in Mechatronics Engineering focused on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) detection using YOLO-based deep learning models.
The dataset contains 1,155 annotated images in YOLO format and was created by integrating and curating publicly available datasets from Roboflow Universe. Additional images related to face masks and safety goggles were incorporated to improve class representation and dataset balance.
