The Southern Rangelands sub project aims to:
Protect and conserve Malleefowl, Greater Bilby, Great Desert Skink and Crest-Tail Mulgara through building capacity of Wiluna Traditional Owners (TOs) to better manage country for ferals and fire.
Protect and conserve Malleefowl in the Great Western Woodlands (GWW) through building capacity of Ngadju TOs via training, on-country work and Conservation Action Planning.
Protect Loggerhead/Green/Hawksbill Sea Turtles at Gnaraloo by managing ferals, which enhances the value of the Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area (WHA).
Enhance the value of the Ningaloo Coast WHA by addressing management priorities from Interim Recovery Plans (IRPs) for Cameron’s Cave and Bundera Sinkhole.
Enhance the integrity of the Shark Bay WHA by building capacity of Malgana TOs via training, on-country work and Sea Country Planning.
