Metagenomic DNA sequences of bulk soil and root endorhizosphere of cultivated and wild Wheat and Barley of cold desert of India

Root and soil samples were obtained from cultivated wheat and barley in Leh (a cold desert) and Bikaner (a hot desert) to investigate the culturable and unculturable microbial diversity. Additionally, interactions between the microbiomes of these crops from both regions were analyzed to identify core and transient microbial communities.
