Polymorphisms profiling of selected neurotransmitter receptors genes implicated in Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting(CINV) in Nigerian cancer patients

The survival and quality of life of many patients with cancer are negatively affected by treatment-induced side effects, two of which are chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV). Recent evidence suggests that polymorphisms in genes involved in the nausea and vomiting pathways may influence oncology patients risks for CINV.
