The concurrent preservation of morphological, structural, and genomic aspects in biological samples provides researchers with comprehensive data to comprehend internal tissue architecture, cellular morphology, and genetic information dynamics, thereby fostering a holistic understanding of biological phenomena and disease mechanisms. Here, we introduce deep silicification, which operates at room temperature without the requirement for fixation, enabling long term preservation of structural and morphological integrity alongside genomic information across biospecies ranging from microorganisms to macroscopic entities. With its simplicity and reliability, deep silicification represents a paradigm shift in biological sample storage, holding promise for mitigating species extinctions, fostering biodiversity, and potentially reversing such trends in the future
