This repository contains the supplementary information files for the article "Assessing technological pathways for a circular PET management in Switzerland, integrating MFA, LCA, and TEA" "SI1.docx" contains the detailed background data, methodologies, calculations, and complement the results. "SI_data_technologies.xlsx" contains the mass balances and Ecoinvent activities associated with the treatment technologies. "SI_modeling.pdf" contains the modeling of the PET treatment and recycling technologies, particularly recycling processes such as depolymerisation, with utility systems and heat integration. "SI_[Glycolysis - Enzymatic hydrolysis - Methanolysis]_costingdetails.pdf" Excel spreadsheet with equipment sizing and costing, and cost linearisation of the depolymerisation technologies. "[Glycolysis - Enzymatic hydrolysis - Methanolysis]_AspenModel.bkp" contains the process flowsheet simulations saved as back-up files (.bkp) developed on Aspen Plus V11. A licence is required to open and run the simulation files.
