Shotgun Metagenome of Lactating goats (Capra hircus)

This study aims to investigate the impact of Moringa oleifera leaves on the gastrointestinal microbial community of lactating goats (Capra hircus), with a focus on elucidating whether the beneficial effects of Moringa are directly linked to changes in the microbial composition. Through a metagenomic approach, the research seeks to analyze how varying amounts of Moringa leaves in the diet influence the structure of the gastrointestinal microbial community and the alterations in functional genes and pathways.
