METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS' INFORMATION COMPETENCE USING PEDAGOGICAL SOFTWARE TOOLS

The rapid digital transformation of education has significantly changed the requirements for teacher preparation. Future primary school teachers are expected to possess not only pedagogical knowledge but also advanced information competence that enables them to search, evaluate, process, and effectively apply digital information in professional practice. This paper examines the methodological foundations of using pedagogical software tools to develop the information competence of future primary school teachers. The study analyzes the didactic potential of digital educational technologies, proposes a competency-oriented instructional model, and describes methodological approaches for integrating pedagogical software into teacher education.
