This dataset comprises photos and videos capturing the morphology, behavior and typical habitats (roosting sites and foraging areas) of representative bird species (including Black-necked Crane, Bar-headed Goose, Ruddy Shelduck) during their wintering and breeding seasons in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau wetlands. The data was collected via collaborative shooting using both conventional cameras and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), with post-processing carried out while retaining their original features. The dataset is authentic, clear and comprehensive, covering wetlands such as Gelain Co, Nam Co, Muji Co, Basum Co, Cuo'e Co, Yani Wetland, Siling Co, alongside fauna closely associated with these wetland ecosystems. This dataset can be utilized for popular science outreach and educational photo exhibitions held in Tibet, applied to the publication of atlases focused on wetlands or birds, serves as a critical data source for analyzing the habitat quality of birds and other organisms, and provides scientific references and decision-making foundations for local biodiversity conservation efforts.
