NRS-12441 | Deed packets

These deed packets contain (expired) contracts which have been made between the Minister for Public Works and various bodies (for example Shire Councils, schools, churches, and companies), regarding works proposed and undertaken, and the leasing and renting of property. The material also includes indentures for apprenticeships in various trades.The deed packets also include release documents between individuals etc. and the Minister for Public Works for resumption of land. These deed packets were kept in a separate numbering sequence from the material listed above, which was retained originally in the Crown Solicitor's Office for the Public Works Department.
